Julie Skinner of Victoria -- aka Julie Sutton of Oliver -- will be inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame at the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. While curling in Oliver, Julie was a repeat Provincial High School Champion, Provincial Junior Women's Champion, Canadian Junior Women's Champion and first ever World Juniors Women's Champion! Now our very own Tyler Antunes and his team just won the regional playdowns and are heading to the U18 Provincial Championships in Parksville in March. We're all so proud of them, and the club is providing funding to help cover playdown and provincial expenses. Congratulations and have an awesome time, guys -- we'll be cheering for you!
