We're glad to report it was a full season of curling in 2021-22 after all the COVID interruptions — and it's sure to get bigger and even better next season!
Our Junior League, School Program and Special Olympics Program were back with lots of enthusiastic curlers, as you can see from the awesome poster OK Falls Elementary School sent us to say thanks for their curling lessons.
Brand new and seasoned curlers came out to play too, including our most senior and beloved curler, Murray Soder, who celebrated his 90th birthday. Check out this special article the Times Chronicle did: Oliver curler still throwing rocks at 90
As all these young and young-at-heart curlers show, curling is a great sport for all ages and abilities and levels. Our new season will start in October, with free learn-to-curl and practice sessions the week before leagues begin (right after Thanksgiving). We're also planning to have lots of family curling events again next season.
Have a wonderful summer and be sure to join us for all the fun in the fall!
